A Touch Of Red

 

Socks are really an interesting piece of clothing; yet we pay so little attention to them. Besides the protection and comfort they provide for our feet, socks are also a small detail that can either pull your outfit together or serve as an unwelcome distraction. I felt a bit gutsy and tried the red sock look and I'll tell you this... The red added a detail that complimented the look and was really pleasant to the eye.

Tjing Tjing Rooftop Bar

 

 

 

The first time I went to Tjing Tjing it was a cold and rainy evening. A friend had a birthday reservation so the weather could not deter us. Initially we were sitting by the couch area inside but we ended up at the rooftop because we ended up crowding the space. The conversation was flowing and some of us stood as close as we could to the fireplace. Overall the place is intimate and the service is great. I recommend you check it out if you haven't been there already.

James Bond 007 Skyfall

I know November is a long way from now but I cannot wait for this movie to drop. James Bond the MI6 agent is back! What's exciting is seeing a new villain played by Javier Bardem sporting blond locks. Judi Dench's character M is haunted by her past and the whole MI6 comes under attack and we see the resurrection of James Bond played by Daniel Craig (Come on you should know who it is by now!). We just have to wait till the release date, 30 November 2012, sigh, enjoy the trailer!

Welcome To The New West

I am currently listening to Ab-Soul's Control System. For those of you who don't know him yet, he is a  member of Black Hippy that also consists of Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock. He definitely caught my ear on this one. His flow and ability of story-telling is too sick! To me this is one of the best Hip-Hop albums of 2012.
